An interesting story about two men who fall in love with the same woman during their transatlantic journey. Initially, they are both intrigued by her mysterious past but react to it in different ways. This in turn determines the course of their lives. James delights all his readers with his brilliant use of irony and wit. Utterly enjoyable!
