Schlesinger, Andrea Batista

Andrea Batista Schlesinger is executive director of the Drum Major Institute for Public Policy, a nonpartisan, nonprofit think tank generating the ideas that fuel the progressive movement. She has written for numerous publications, including the Nation, New York Newsday, the Chicago Sun-Times, and the Huffington Post; has been profiled by the New York Times and the New Yorker; and has appeared on radio and television ranging from NPR to Lou Dobbs.;
