Biography
Paul Kraus is a Holocaust survivor and mesothelioma patient (living in Newcastle). Kraus was born in and survived a Nazi forced labour camp during World War II. In 1997, he was diagnosed with mesothelioma, a type of cancer caused by asbestos. He has published another religious poetry book, Prayers, Promises and Prescriptions for Healing in England a few years ago, which sold well in England and Australia. He is also the author of Not So Fabulous 50s: Images of a Migrant Childhood and Surviving Mesothelioma and Other Cancers: A patient’s guide.
