Wizner, Kira

Kira Wizner is a writer living in New York City. She is a former middle school English and humanities teacher and staff developer in the New York City public school system. She has worked helping students understand political campaigns in middle school classrooms for ten years. Having a cousin who died in a prisoner-of-war camp in Korea, she has a particular interest in the Geneva Convention and its efficacy today. Her husband is a public school teacher and writer. She is the proud mother of two girls.;
