Thornton, Arland

Arland Thornton is director of the Population Studies Center, research professor at the Survey Research Center, and professor of sociology at the University of Michigan. Past president of the Population Association of America, he is also coauthor of Social Change and the Family in Taiwan and the editor of The Well-Being of Children and Families.
