    Cat Protection Society of NSW,

    Biography

    The Cat Protection Society of NSW Inc. began in 1958 as a small group of people dedicated to finding loving and responsible homes for street cats. Today, their vision remains the same and they now offer a range of feline care services from their purpose-designed, no-kill shelter in Newtown. An independent charity, the organisation is also a member of Animals Australia and WSPA. It has 1700 members, 150 volunteers, 12 staff and looks after 3000 to 4000 cats a year. It is these members and volunteers who have contributed the wonderful cat stories and images contained in this book.;
