Dixon, Ella Hepworth

English journalist, travel writer, and a novelist, Dixon is the daughter of William Hepworth Dixon. Dixon wrote short stories and travel pieces to the World, Pall Mall Gazette, Ladies’ Pictorial, Ladies’ Field and the Yellow Book. In 1895, she also edited the Englishwoman. In 1892, she published My Flirtations under the pseudonym Margaret Wynman. Dixon is best known for her novel: A Story of a Modern Woman (1894).;
