Haggard, Henry Rider
Biography
Henry Rider Haggard (1856 - 1925) was a prolific English author famous for adventure novels set in exotic lands like Africa and Iceland. He served as the lieutenant - governor of the Colony of Natal, where earned first hand experience of Africa that finds reflection in his works, but he was also a strong voice in favour of agricultural reforms in England.
