    Biography

    French historian and poet, chiefly famous for his chronicles especially about the Hundred Years' War between England and France. The chronicles contain information about several events of the 14th century and are of great importance to historians and readers alike.
    Froissart traveled widely and during these travels he collected information about all the important world events. His most famous work is Chronique de France, d'Angleterre, d'Ecosse et d'Espagne. It was translated into English in 1523-1525 and is known as the Chronicle of France, England, Scotland, and Spain. He also wrote poetry which includes L'Horloge amoureux and Meliador.
