Steve Mays has served as the senior pastor of Calvary Chapel South Bay in Gardena, California, for over 32 years. He is a well-known speaker, author and radio personality through the Light of the Word broadcast. He holds a master's degree in theology from Azusa Pacific University and was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree in 2007. He is the author of Overcoming: Discover How to Rise Above and Beyond Your Overwhelming Circumstances in Life. Steve and his wife, Gail, have two grown children and four grandchildren.;
