    Jacob Ludwig Karl Grimm (1786 - 1859) and Wilhelm Karl Grimm (1786 - 1859) were German academics of the 19th century, born in Hanau. They are best known for their collections of folklore and fairy tales and are among the famous story tellers of Europe. Their collections include Household Tales (1812 - 1815), Deutsches Wörterbuch (1854), and Deutsche Mythologie (1835). ;
