John Graham is President of the Giraffe Heroes Project, whose mission is to find real people acting with extraordinary courage on a broad range of important issues and tell their stories to millions of others through the media and in schools. Prior to joining the Giraffe Project in 1983, he was a US diplomat for 15 years, serving in Libya, Vietnam, at NATO, and at the U.S. mission to the UN. He is the author of Sit Down Young Stranger, Outdoor Leadership, and It's Up to Us.;
