"Rabbi Edward Feinstein has been answering kids’ and adults’ questions for more than twenty years as a congregational rabbi, day school educator and seminary instructor. He is senior rabbi at Valley Beth Shalom, a synagogue in Encino, California, and teaches at American Jewish University. He is the author The Chutzpah Imperative: Empowering Today’s Jews for a Life That Matters; Tough Questions Jews Ask: A Young Adult's Guide to Building a Jewish Life; and Capturing the Moon: Classic and Modern Jewish Tales and editor of Jews and Judaism in the 21st Century: Human Responsibility, the Presence of God, and the Future of the Covenant. He lives in southern California with his wife and three teenage kids. When he’s home, he bakes brownies every Friday afternoon from a recipe given to his ancestors at Mount Sinai."
